Insert production details quickly
In some cases it is not sufficient to make just a simple drawing of the tool. The customer or the in-house production requires detailed information of the cutting edge geometry and exact information of the position on the tool. However, a definition and dimensioning of different cutting planes is often too complex. The schematic point views offer a remedy here.
The predefined combinations of schematic point views and tables can be called up and selected in each tool drawing via the menu item 'Insert schematic point view' in the menu 'Edit'/'Front view'.
A preview of the schematic view helps you make the right selection. Once inserted into the tool drawing, the point view and the table can be positioned free and separately on the drawing.
Since schematic point views consist mainly of company-specific information, they are maintained according to your specifications and are only available to users approved by you. If you would like to use your schematic point views in TD Sketcher, please contact us.
