Create consistent drawings easily using templates
TD Sketcher allows creating many tool drawings very quickly. Ongoing recurring adjustments, repeated insert of required tables as well as changing to the right drawing frame are very time-consuming and real “productivity killers”. This can be remedied by templates, which are quickly set up.
A template can be derived from an existing drawing at any time. If you have set up a drawing to serve as a template, select in the menu "Templates" the function "Save current page as a template". Enter a meaningful name for the new template in the dialog, which appears after that.
The preview shows you all elements from the drawing which are stored in the template. Here you have the possibility to carry out the last adjustments and fine-tuning on the template. After you have applied the template, you can use this template for each drawing. Even existing drawings can be provided and updated with the new template.
You can select a template via the menu "Templates" / "Load". A preview of the selected template is shown in the drawing in green to facilitate identification. Once created templates can also be exported and imported into other workstations.
